Bagels
Times Square
Grand Central Station
The Empire State Building
That’s what we experienced today. While it was pouring down rain.
Add to that list:
Buying a new bag for Haley (her bag was not what one would call “rain ready”)
Buying umbrellas (el oh el, we almost bought only one. As in, we considered sharing an umbrella in NYC. HAHAHAHA. That would have been a DISASTER since we walked for seven hours)
Getting drenched
Getting blisters
Bleeding into soaked flats because of said blisters
Buying new shoes
Getting splashed by a taxi
Watching three police officers chase a guy and instantaneously apprehend him in Grand Central Station
Successfully navigating the Subway system

Haley and her new, cute umbrella.
Here are more photos from our wet but glorious day (find more pictures on Haley’s blog):

Bagel Talk is fabulous. We could have sat in here and watched people for hours.

My bff is gorgeous. #coffeemodel

Umbrellas + Times Square = cute photos and awkward navigation

Thanks for all you do, NYPD. We feel super safe here.

Times Square.

I was excited.

Empire State Building sighting. We burst into laughter when we saw it because it was so unbelievable.

Grand Central Station (bottom left), Empire State Building, and America. All the feels.
