Cheerio from jolly ol’ England.
We’ve had a full week in London and today we leave for four days in Oxford (praise). We’ve taken most of our photos on Haley’s camera (she’s posted a lot of photos on her blog, check them out here and here) but below are a few from my trusty ol’ iPhone for your enjoyment (more will be following in the days to come).
I cannot believe we get the privilege of being here and seeing so much history and culture.
We’ve visited pretty much every Jane Austen site possible (that’s a whole blog for itself) and almost all the main tourist attractions, like the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, the London Pier and basically anything else you can name.
Yesterday we saw the crown jewels, Platform 9 3/4 and, at the British Library (be still my heart), the Gutenberg and Tyndale Bibles. I almost passed out. I wish I could have taken a million photos there but, you know, legalities.
“The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
Seeing all these beautiful people and places has been amazing but spending this quality time with Haley has been the best by far. I’m grateful for her, our adventures, late night conversations, tears, laughter and love for all things food (and Jane Austen). Praise for such a sweet time to discuss everything (the sentence could stop there) God has done in our lives over the last year and what we’re looking forward to in 2016.

This is an accurate representation of each video we’re making to document this trip. Clearly it’s going to be great.
Love the people you can be crazy with.
