Wednesday was my 24th birthday and the Lord showered His love to me through the Vasilius and the Durhams. They made my birthday so special and I will always cherish the beautiful memories they helped me make as we celebrated the life He has given me now for 24 years.
We’re in Romania to launch the Romania Missionary Fellowship and Florin Vasiliu is the newly installed director of RMF. He has a beautiful wife, Denise, and three great kids: David, Andrei and Esthera. Wednesday was our first full day in Romania and we mostly hung out at the Vasilius’ home.
After just meeting Denise that morning, she made me a special Romanian cake that had a lot of fruit and this creamy, pudding-type of filling with wafers. They sang happy birthday and I almost cried at their intentional acts of love. I am so humbled. And so very blessed by the One who gives love.

David, me and Esthera… apparently I didn’t get the memo that this was supposed to be a goofy picture.
We spent the day playing cards and Risk, my first time playing… I’m not good. At all. But it was really fun.
Later in the day David, Andrei and Esthera took Joseph and I walking in Iasi. I love that everyone walks everywhere!
We’re about to start the next conference right now so I’ll post more later, just know God is moving and I love it so much here! Please continue praying for God’s work here. To read how He’s already moved in the first conference read this: Ungheni, Moldova RMF Conference.
