Romania Week Two Photos

Adventures abound.

The last week was filled with one-on-one (or two-on-one) meetings with students, hanging out and doing life, and planting seeds and sharing the Gospel. It was my favorite.

I love these people. I love what God is doing in and through them. I love redemption.

Here are approximately 97 million photos from the last week.

Katie and Veronica are two master’s students in tourism and regional development and I love (!) them so much. We have a deep bond, forged through a mutual love of food, adventures, and hilarity. Here we are at dinner at a 360º Panoramic restaurant at the top of a hotel that overlooks the entire city. (You’ll see Katie and Veronica in a lot more photos below.)

On Tuesday (I think?) the entire English Club went bowling and took up the entire bowling alley. It was wonderful.

Update: Iasi is still beautiful.

I mean, it’s not the worst lunch view I’ve ever had.

Estera is in her first year of university studying English and German. We instantly connected over a love of books, theology, C. S. Lewis, Charles Spurgeon, and biblical femininity. God will continue using her to make disciples who make disciples. She is a force for the kingdom.

Ligia is a pharmacy student with a heart as big as the sky. We devoured some crepes (pictured below) and amazing conversation. God is writing an amazing story in and through her. And the best is yet to come.

The last night of English Club brought a Romanian party and lots of laughter, pictures, and bittersweet goodbyes.

On Saturday, Estera and I had a whole day together.
