Monday Morning Munch No. 71 – Power

“When Christ was with them, the disciples received instruction. Lord, this is what we still need–power. Your power, to witness to the people you have called us to live among.

Make us look more like Your Son and embolden us to hold out the hope of redemption and saving faith for others.

Grant us a hunger and thirst for Your Word, Your presence, Your voice and Your Gospel.

Mature us, Your church, and help us to clothe ourselves in humility, love, joy, peace, gentleness and the graciousness You’ve extended to us.

And may we not rest until we find rest in You.
